Providing a Better Fluid-applied Solution for Car Dealerships

Published by Eileen Ybarra on March 18, 2025

Our team helped provide a better fluid-applied solution for car dealerships by restoring a company’s older retail location in South Carolina. The main purpose of this project was for them to gain a more modern and long-lasting roofing solution. And despite the tight time constraints, our team was able to provide exceptional results when restoring this car dealership roof.

Our goal was to ensure their property was taken care of and there were minimal disruptions to operations.

Conditions

Since we were restoring a dealership roof for this project, there were many cars out in the parking lot. In this type of environment, our team wanted to ensure the space was protected. So, we put covers on the cars as needed throughout the duration of the project. This minor detail was something we knew would be meaningful to our customer.

Challenges

The primary challenge our team faced while restoring this dealership property was the tight time constraints. They wanted to get their roof done as soon as possible because it was so old. To accommodate this, our team mobilized within 5 days, assessed the roof, and provided a proposal that day. While this took some additional effort on our end, we wanted to best support their needs because we believe every roof matters.

Process & System Information

To provide predictable and consistent results, our team used our systematic communication and proprietary fluid-applied installation processes from start to completion. Whenever we were on site, we maintained communications with our on-site contact to ensure there were minimal disruptions and everything went smoothly.

During installation, we restored the existing metal roof with a fluid-applied solution and a manufacturer backed Labor, Material, and Workmanship Warranty.

Timeline

This project moved particularly quickly because of the time constraints. Our team began work just 7-days after our initial planning call and completed the project in 10 days.

Outcome & Benefits

This project restored the existing metal car dealership roof in South Carolina. We helped them bring their existing substrate back to top performance. With the solution we installed, they were also able to boost durability, reduce waste, and gain a high-reflective cool roof.

The customer was very happy with the outcome and now knows who to call for their restoration needs.
