Fluid-applied Resources

This fluid-applied case study highlights how our team of commercial roof restoration experts helped a well-known international tool brand restore one of their warehouse facilities in Arkansas.
This included restoring the original substrate, which consisted of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM). The main reason for this project was to bring the roof back to top performance with a more sustainable option with the ability to reduce waste to landfill significantly and contribute positively to the company’s environmental goals.
Conditions
Since the property was in a high-traffic environment, our team proactively planned with the customer to ensure the project went smoothly. These communications also made it easier for our team to maintain minimal disruptions throughout the duration of the restoration project.
Challenges
The primary challenge our team faced while restoring this large-scale roof was ensuring all logistics went smoothly and all the customer’s environmental goals were fulfilled. This meant our team had to engage in more tracking during the completion of the project to document all sustainable outcomes.
Process & System Information
To provide predictable and consistent results, our team used our systematic communication and proprietary fluid-applied installation processes from start to completion. While working on site, we maintained regular communications and made sure to track all metrics the customer wanted to see at the end of the project.
Our team of commercial roof restoration and fluid-applied system experts restored the existing EPDM roof with a silicone solution. This also resulted in the customer gaining a manufacturer backed 20-year Labor, Material, and Workmanship Warranty.
Timeline
We completed this project within the customer’s desired timeline, and our team worked diligently to prevent any potential delays.
Outcome & Benefits
This project restored the existing EPDM substrate at the warehouse facility of an international tool company with a silicone solution backed by a 20-year Labor, Material, and Workmanship Warranty. Upon final inspection, the results showed our team installed the system to SPEC, and the customer saved a significant amount of waste to landfill. Outcomes that the customer was very pleased with.
Since this project, we’ve been continuing to find ways to help this customer look at their properties differently and consider restoration as a go-to option.
