Miles McCollum

Before joining White Hat Industrial, Miles was a part of an Indianapolis-based tech start-up serving the Senior Living industry. He was responsible for leading a sales team that helped Senior Living communities find a solution that helped residents, families, and staff better communicate in a comprehensive, user-friendly technology ecosystem.
It was his desire to help others that shifted his mindset and heart from just ‘working’ to ‘serving’ – this shift led Miles to join the White Hat team as Strategic Account Specialist. White Hat has a greater mission than profits and paychecks. Miles finds fulfillment in being a part of a team that actively seeks ways to give back to the community and those in need.
In his current role, Miles is in business development at White Hat, covering the Midwest and East Coast. His role is to help property owners and management groups find a roofing system that is the best possible fit for their facilities. And that does not always mean replacing the roof entirely. For years, the mindset was that adding a new layer or replacing the roof was the only solution. That’s where White Hat and their fluid applied roofing comes into play – it provides a sustainable roofing solution while also keeping more money in the owner’s pocket.
When not meeting with potential customers or making an impact in the community, Miles enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. You can also find him hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, or really anything that allows him to be outside. In fact, he’s always wanted to squirrel suit through the Grand Canyon!
Advice to His Younger Self: “Slow down and embrace the moments. I’ve always been a pretty fast-paced person, but I’ve realized that time will continue to tick. The moments we are going through in life will only happen once, so enjoy them!”
